The National Meeting of Creators of Buffalo was prepared by a group of bubalinocultores after I Symposium of Buffalo of the Americas, in the year of 2,002. That same year, a researcher and professor of UPIS of Brasilia Dr. Snell Marília Viviane de Oliveira together to bubalinocultura Mrs. Leni Cross organized the First Meeting in the national capital.
The event had proposed as the exchange between designers, technicians and professionals related to bubalinocultura. Given the success of the event, praised by all participants, including researchers of international renown, the meeting has been held annually. All meetings were marked by the partnership between educational institutions and research and the regional and national associations.
This year, was proposed by the Association of Builders Buffaloes the Ribeira Valley, with endorsement of the Brazilian Association, the holding of the Sixth Meeting in registration. This city is considered by the Government of the State of Sao Paulo as the administrative region of the Ribeira Valley, the region appearing as one of the most important for the national bubalinocultura.
